From the rainforest to your table

The salal berries in our fruit spreads are harvested at the peak of their ripeness in July and August near Forks, Washington.  Berry harvesting is a welcome opportunity in rural communities during the summer months when typical forest employment opportunities are generally unavailable.

The berries then travel south to Portland, Oregon, where they are combined with organic ingredients in copper pots and jarred, ready to grace your cheese boards, warm biscuits, and crusty bread.
